Rules & Guidelines for Nomination
WMEF – Indian Wedding Achievers Awards 2025
1. Eligibility
Any event or celebration executed within the realm of Indian weddings, anywhere in India, between 1st April 2024 and 31st July 2025 is eligible for entry into the WMEF – Indian Wedding Achievers Awards 2025.
2. Entry Deadline
- Final Submission Date: Friday, 2nd September 2025, at 11:59 PM IST.
- All entries must be submitted before the deadline to be considered.
3. Submission Requirements
Each nomination must include:
A) Photographs – Soft copies (4 images)
B) Video – 30-second video (Max 2 MB) or YouTube link
C) Instagram Page Link
- Participants may enter in one or more categories.
- A separate entry fee applies for each category.
4. Who May Enter
- Any registered Event Management Company.
- Any individual with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the event or entertainment industry.
- Employees of registered Event Management Companies or Media Houses.
- Freelancers in the event and entertainment industry.
5. Who May Not Enter
- EMPA Board Members, WMEF–IWAA juries, their affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and respective spouses, regardless of residence).
- Persons residing in the same household as any of the above, whether related or not.
- Entrants must be at least 18 years old as of the entry date.
6. How to Enter
- All entries must be submitted online by clicking URL https://ticketing.chkdin.com/event/view/wmef-2025 by completing the registration form and following on-screen instructions.
- Participants may submit multiple entries across different categories.
- Categories can be added later through the user dashboard.
- Upon successful registration, an email confirmation will be sent.
7. Entry Format
Photos: 4 images of the nominated work in PNG/JPEG format, each under 2 MB.
Video: YouTube link showcasing the specific nominated work.
Social Media :
Instagram link of your page
Website link :
Description: Brief write-up describing the nominated work in PDF format.
Client Name: Name of the client for the nominated work.
Documents:
Aadhaar Card (photocopy)
PAN Card (photocopy)
Local Business Licence or GST Number (copy)
Entries will not be accepted via email or any other method.
8. Terms & Conditions
- Entrants must have legal rights to submit the work and must represent it truthfully. False claims will result in disqualification.
- Entry Fee: ₹5,000 per category. Bank fees or currency conversion charges are the participant’s responsibility.
- No refunds will be issued once payment is made, except in the case of category cancellation (see point below).
- Late submissions may be accepted at the organisers’ discretion, subject to an additional fee of ₹2,500 per entry.
- Nominees must provide valid documents within 3 days if requested, failing which they risk disqualification.
- Categories may be merged, modified, or cancelled by the jury. The decision will be final.
- Participation does not guarantee invitations to the Awards Gala, lunch, dinner, or WMEF knowledge sessions.
- By submitting an entry, participants agree to all rules and any subsequent amendments.
- Submitting an entry does not guarantee winning an award or receiving recognition.
- If a category is cancelled, nominees will be offered transfer to a similar category. If declined, only the entry fee will be refunded—no other compensation will be provided.
- All disputes will be subject to Kolhapur, Maharashtra jurisdiction.
9. Rights of Usage
- WMEF–EMPA will not reproduce any submitted work without prior permission.
- However, WMEF–EMPA may publish submitted work for promotional or publicity purposes.
- Entrants retain all copyrights to their work.
10. Judging & Results
- An independent jury appointed by WMEF–EMPA will evaluate entries.
- Judging will be based on creativity, execution, and overall impact.
- Award nominees and winners will be announced at the WMEF Indian Wedding Achievers Awards 2025 in Goa and/or on the official website and social media platforms.
- Entry to the Awards Gala is by invitation only.
- The jury’s decision will be final and not open to challenge.
- Timelines may be extended at the organisers’ discretion.
- The IWAA Committee is not obligated to explain why an entry was rejected.
- All rights reserved.
